Asparagus. The earth is wonderful because such a delicious food grows here. But even if you want to make something with asparagus, recipes are limited. Asparagus goes great with pasta. It is surprisingly delicious.
After many years of trial and error, I finally succeeded to make this okonomiyaki crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It's just like the ones you really enjoy in a restaurant!
Aubergine , King prawns, White fish fillet (like cod), Ginger, Spring onions or shallots, Flour, Dashi broth, Soy sauce, Finely grated mooli, Salt & pepper, Vegetable oil, Egg white
White asparagus & juice (in a jar), Soya milk (or cow's milk), Egg (large), Miso (white), Salt, Chicken breast fillet and prawns, Thick sauce:, Asparagus juice (from the jar), Dashi broth, Light soy sauce, Mirin, Potato starch in a bit of water
Asparagus, Watercress, Broad beans (frozen), Just cooked rice, Butter, Smoked trout fillets, Optional toppings:, Fine strips of ginger, Finely chopped favourite pickled vegetables, Finely chopped chives or spring onions, Fine strips of shiso herb (or basil), Crushed sesame seeds
All the ingredients were in my fridge. The flavour of the bacon and the sweet onions give it a nice touch. The dressing is so simple with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze.
The tofu and egg white makes this recipe nice and light.
