Super Spaghetti Salad

A super pasta salad with hidden tuna and bacon.

Recipe By: Torajiro Kuruma (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/62)
Serves 4 Prep: 2 min Cook: 10 min

Ingredients

Spaghetti 100g
Salt (for boiling the pasta) 1-1.5% of water
Cucumber 10cm
Salt a pinch
Tinned tuna (in oil) 1 (80g)
Ham or bacon slices 3
Mayonnaise 4-5 tbsp
Dijon mustard 1 tsp
Pepper 1 tsp

Method

1
Break the dried spaghetti into thirds and boil in hot water with 1-1.5% salt to the amount of water (for example, 10g salt in 1 litre water).
2
Finely slice the cucumber, rub with the pinch of salt and keep aside for 5 minutes. Then squeeze it well - this is important.
3
Cut the ham or bacon into bitesize pieces. This time I used bacon. Heat for 30 seconds in the microwave. Remove one tbsp oil from the tinned tuna and put all the tuna into a bowl with the bacon.
4
Drain the cooked pasta and add to the bowl while still hot. Add the mayonnaise, mustard and pepper and mix well.

Tips & Note

The above quantities are pretty standard, but adjust the mayonnaise and mustard to your taste. English mustard works well but if you use British mayonnaise, I think it would be better to add a little bit of vinegar.
