Broccoli, Onion & Bacon Pasta Japanese Style

A simple but tasty soy sauce & butter flavour pasta dish.

Recipe By: midnight kitchen (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/111)
Serves 2 Cook: 12 min

Ingredients

Pasta for 2 people
Broccoli 1/4
Bacon rashers 2-3
Onion 1/2
Dashi granules 1/2 tsp
Butter 1-2 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp

Method

1
Finely slice the bacon and onion and chop the broccoli to bitesize. Use the stalk too, chop it to 3mm pieces. Fry the vegetables and bacon on high heat in a frying pan without any oil.
2
At the same time, cook the pasta. When Step 1 is well fried, add the dashi granules, butter and soy sauce and mix well. Add a touch of water and the cooked pasta and mix well before serving.

Tips & Note

The bacon releases enough fat to fry with the vegetables, so no extra oil is needed. Fry on high heat quickly as this will release the flavours more. If you add some finely chopped garlic with the vegetables, this will also be delicious.
