Italian Green Bean Snack

Add as a side dish to you main meal or as a snack with beer.

Ingredients

Fine green beans 200g
Salt (for boiling) 2 tbsp
Olive oil as required
Rock salt as required

Method

Remove the fibres from the green beans.

Put the salt into hot water and cook the beans for 5-6 minutes on medium heat.

Drain in a colander and mix with the olive oil while it's hot. Sprinkle with the rock salt flakes.

Tips & Note

You can use sugar snap peas instead of green beans.
If you buy cooked green beans, this is even handier.
If you mix the beans with the olive oil and rock salt flakes while it's hot, it will absorb the flavours instantly.
