Pickled Radish with Smoked Salmon

Ingredients

Radish 2 packs
Seasoning:
Lemon juice 1
Light brown sugar 1 tbsp
Smoked salmon 1 pack (100g)
Watercress as required

Method

Finely slice the radishes and rub with some salt. Mix with the seasoning ingredients in a bowl and keep aside for 20 minutes.

Add the chopped smoked salmon and watercress and lightly mix. It's ready to serve.

These are the radishes, from the same family as the mooli, they originate in Europe.

Tips & Note

●If you don't have light brown sugar, you can use granulated sugar but the light brown sugar gives a lovelier gentle taste.
●If you keep this for 1 or 2 days, the flavour will intensify.
