Spicy Tuna Rice

So simple if you have a rice cooker.

Ingredients

Jasmine rice 1.5 gou (225g)
Glutinous rice 1.5 gou (225g)
Tinned tuna, large (in sunflower oil) 1
Onion (medium) 1 (150g)
Cardamom pods 2
Cloves 2
Bay leaves 2
Soy sauce 1/2 tbsp
Curry powder 3-4 tbsp
Chives as required

Method

Rinse both types of rice together and leave to drain in a colander.

Put into a rice cooker and add enough water for 3 gou.

Put the oil and tuna in a frying pan and fry with the chopped onion and curry powder.

Add Step 3 into the rice cooker with the cardamom, bay leaves, cloves and soy sauce and start to cook.

Leave aside for a while once cooked. Sprinkle with finely chopped chives and mix well before transferring to a serving dish.
