Delicious Fried Pork Fillet with Sweet Miso Ginger Sauce

Ingredients

Pork loin fillet 1
Salt & pepper a little
Vegetable oil 1 tsp
Onion (medium) 1
Ginger 1 thumb
Spring onions 2
Red chilli 1/2
●Miso paste 1 tbsp
●Soy sauce 1 tbsp
●Mirin 2 tbsp
●Sake 2 tbsp
●Sugar 1 tbsp

Method

Mix the ● sauce ingredients in advance and grate the ginger. Lightly season the pork with the salt & pepper and cut the sinews to prevent it warping.

Put the oil in a large frying pan and fry the sliced onion on medium heat. Add the pork alongside and fry at the same time.

Fry both sides of the pork for 5 minutes altogether on medium heat, then add the sauce from Step 1 and the grated ginger. Keep basting the pork with the sauce.

If the sauce has reduced too much, add some water. Top the pork with the finely chopped spring onions.

Add the sliced red chilli and mix before serving.
