Mushroom Pate on Blinis

Ingredients

Walnuts 80g
Butter 30g
Onion (small) 1/2
Garlic 2 cloves
Mushrooms 1 pack (290g)
Salt & pepper a pinch
Blinis as required

Method

Dry roast the walnuts then blend in a food processor.

Put the butter in a frying pan and add the finely sliced onion and garlic. Sprinkle some salt and fry until softened.

Add the finely sliced mushrooms to the pan and reduce until the moisture evaporates. Turn the heat off.

Allow to cool then add Step 3 into Step 1 and blend together.

Season with salt & pepper before serving on top of the blinis.
