Kale Filo Parcels

Ingredients

Filo pastry sheets 6
Potatoes (peeled) 500g
Kale 1 pack (200g)
Onion 1
Oyster sauce 5 tbsp
Salt & pepper as required
Roasted pine nuts 15g
Olive oil as required
Black sesame seeds as required

Method

Preheat the oven 200C. Finely chop the onion and add a bit of salt. Stir fry.

Boil the kale and roughly chop. Boil the potatoes until soft and mash with a fork.

Put the potatoes, kale and onion in a bowl. Add the oyster sauce, salt & pepper and pine nuts and mix well.

Cut the filo pastry into 3 even strips. Fill some of Step 3 onto the nearside and wrap into a square parcel.

Pat away the excess flour from the filo pastry and place onto a baking sheet on an oven tray. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle black sesame seeds.

Bake at 200C for 15-20 minutes.

Tips & Note

You can microwave or steam the potatoes instead of boiling.
