Salmon and Chinese Leaves in Gochujang Miso Sauce

An interesting simple recipe.

Ingredients

Tinned salmon in brine (small) 1/2
Chinese leaf 1/2
[Sauce]
Gochujang 1 tsp
Soy sauce 1 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Vinegar 1 tsp
Sesame oil 1 tbsp
Sesame seeds as required
Nori sheet as required

Method

Wash the Chinese leaves and wrap in cling film and cook for 2 minutes in the microwave.

Allow to cool then squeeze any moisture. Slice into 2cm wide. Drain the tinned salmon and flake.

Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Add the Chinese leaves and salmon pieces and mix well.

Tear apart the nori sheet and sprinkle over Step on a serving dish.

Tips & Note

●Mix and prepare this dish just before serving, to prevent any moisture being released.
●Adjust the spice to your preferred taste with the amount of the Gochujang.
