Brown rice 2 cups
Water 3 cups
Salt 2g
Garden peas in the pod 250g

Method

1
Wash and soak the brown rice in the 3 cups water the night before.
2
Shell the peas.
3
Aaah, lovely, aren't they?
4
Boil the peas with some salt.
5
Turn off the heat when cooked and leave in the water.
6
8
Enjoy!

Tips & Note

If I buy organic peas, I always cook the peas in the pod - this completely changes the taste. With the brown rice, you need a bit extra salt to really bring out the flavour.
