Serves 4 Cook: 15 min

Ingredients

Green beans 200g
Dry roasted or crushed sesame seeds as required
Miso 1 tbsp
Mirin 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp

Method

1
Here are the ingredients.
2
Top and tail the green beans and wash them. Boil some water in a pan and add a pinch of salt. Add the green beans and boil on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
3
Put the mirin, miso and sugar in a large bowl and mix well.
4
Drain the green beans.
5
While they're still hot, add the beans to Step 3, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.

Tips & Note

Don't overboil the beans, keep them crunchy. If you mix the sauce with the beans while they're hot, they'll absorb the flavour better.
