Home Made Tahini Sesame Dressing

Tahini sold in supermarkets is from the middle east, it's ground white sesame seeds. I used this to make my home-made sesame dressing.

Serves 2 Cook: 3 min

Ingredients

Tahini 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Light soy sauce 1 tbsp
Rice vinegar 1 tbsp

Method

1
This is the tahini I used, about £2.50 for 300g. You can make about 1 litre of the dressing with this amount.
2
Put all the ingredients (same amount of each) in a bowl and stir well.
3
When it emulsifies, it's ready.
4
Today, I had broccoli microwaved for 4 minutes, poured over with the tahini dressing. You can use this for any vegetables.

Tips & Note

You can adjust for sweetness or sourness. If you want to use this as a sauce for a hotpot, add some miso, sesame oil and cayenne pepper and mix with a dashi broth.
