Ingredients

Nori sheets 10
Water 300ml
Cola 100ml
Soy sauce 6 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp

Method

Roughly tear apart the nori sheets.

Put the water, cola, soy sauce and sugar into a small pan and bring to the boil.

Add the nori to Step 2 and simmer on medium heat for 10-15 minutes until all the liquid has evaporated.

Tips & Note

●The cola acts as a substitute for the mirin. You can even use flat cola.
●It doesn't matter if the nori is damp or moist, you can revive it by using in this recipe.
