Korean Bulgogi with Broccoli...delicious and nutritious

I put a lot of my favourite broccoli in my favourite bulgogi, it's a delicious sweet and spicy sauce.

Recipe By: KitchenCIB (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/94)
Serves 2 Cook: 15 min

Ingredients

Broccoli 50-60g
Onion 1/2
Beef (for steak) 150g
Carrot 5cm
Garlic 1 clove
Ginger 1 thumb
Spring onions 2
Salt (for boiling broccoli) as required
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Sesame oil 2 tbsp
Soy sauce for finishing 1 tsp
Crushed sesame seeds 1 tbsp

Method

1
I recommend sirloin or ribeye steak meat for a tender finish.
2
Cut the beef into small pieces of about 1cm square. Shred the carrots and slice the onions. Divide the broccoli into florets and grate the garlic and ginger.
3
Boil the broccoli for about 4 minutes. After boiling, leave it to drain in a colander.
4
Put all the ingredients of the sauce in a bowl and dissolve them well. Add the beef, broccoli and other vegetables to the sauce, rub in by hand and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
5
Heat the frying pan over a high heat, then add the ingredients from Step 4 and fry. Since the sauce contains sesame oil, no extra oil is needed.
6
When the vegetables and meat are cooked, add the diagonally cut spring onions and fry on high heat for about 1 minute while mixing well.
7
To finish, add 1 teaspoon of soy sauce and fry it quickly. Serve on a plate, sprinkle white sesame seeds on top and enjoy!
