Kale and Smoked Oysters in White Sauce

Amplify the taste by using smoked oysters.

Ingredients

Tinned smoked oysters (in oil) 1
Onion (small) 1 (85g)
Kale 50g
Plain flour 2 tbsp
Milk 200ml
White wine 50ml
Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
Buttery rice for 1

Method

Put the oil in a frying pan and fry the smoked oysters with the finely chopped onion on high heat.

Turn down to medium heat and add the plain flour. Add the milk a bit at a time to make a sauce.

Add the white wine and oyster sauce. Mix well and turn the heat to low. Add the uncooked kale cut into strips.

Cover with foil instead of a lid and cook for 2 minutes.

Fill a dish with buttery rice※ and pour Step 4 over it, it's ready to serve.

I used this John West: Smoked Oysters in Sunflower Oil.

Tips & Note

※Add 10g butter and 10g chopped parsley into just cooked rice and mix well
