Carrot And Tuna One-Pot Rice Dish

Even if your children don't like carrots, they'll love this recipe!

Ingredients

Rice 2 gou (300g)
Carrot (small) 1 (100g)
Onion 1 (100g)
Butter 50g
Beef stock cube (OXO) 1.5 cubes
Tuna in sunflower oil (small) 1 tin
Spring onions 2

Method

Wash the rice and drain in a sieve. Allow the surface to dry.

Finely slice the onion and half of the carrot. Grate the other carrot half.

Put the butter in a frying pan and stir fry the onion and sliced carrots.

When the onion is softened, add the beef stock cube and rice and stir on a medium high heat.

Put Step 4 and the grated carrot into a rice cooker or hotpot and add enough water for 2 gou and cook.

When the rice is cooked, add the drained tuna and chopped spring onions. Stir well and serve.
