Kombu Dressing for Lettuce

Transform an ice cold lettuce with this tasty and refreshing kombu dressing.

Ingredients

Lettuce 120g
Toasted sesame seeds 1 tbsp
Salted kombu (shio kombu) 12g
Extra virgin olive oil 1 tbsp
Rice vinegar 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp

Method

Mix all the ingredients except the lettuce and sesame seeds together in a bowl.

Wash and pat dry the lettuce then tear into shreds. Arrange on a serving plate then pour over the dressing from Step 1. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds to garnish and mix well before serving.

Tips & Note

The lettuce should be nicely chilled before serving.
