Smoked Mackerel Salad

Ingredients

Smoked mackerel fillet 1
Celery 2
Onion 1/2
Dill 2 tbsp
Sour cream 2 tbsp
Horseradish sauce 1 tbsp
Wine vinegar 1 tsp
Salt & pepper a little
Lettuce as required

Method

Finely chop the onions and rub with salt. Wash with running water to remove any heat.

Remove the fibres from the celery and finely slice diagonally. Remove the dill stalk and finely chop the feathers. Remove the skin and bones from the mackerel and chop into bitesize pieces.

Pu the sour cream, horseradish, wine vinegar, chopped dill, salt & pepper and mix well.

Pat dry the chopped onion and add to Step 3 with the celery and mackerel and mix well to combine.

Put the lettuce leaves on a dish and cover over with Step 4, it's ready to serve.

Tips & Note

●The amount of horseradish is up to your personal taste.
●You could use fennel instead of celery.
