Tuna Cutlet with Tomato Salsa

A great combination of flavours with the sesame, wasabi and tomato!

Ingredients

Tuna 1
Wasabi 1-2 tbsp
Mayonnaise 1-2 tbsp
Sesame seeds (black and white) as required
【Tomato Salsa】
Tomato (diced) 1 large
Red onion (sliced) 1/4
Garlic (grated) 1 clove
Sesame oil 2 tbsp
Light soy sauce 2 tbsp
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Rocket (for garnish) as required
Nori sheet shreds (for garnish) as required

Method

Put all the tomato salsa ingredients in a bowl.

Spread a mix of the wasabi and mayonnaise onto the tuna. Coat liberally with a mix of the sesame seeds.

Put lots of oil in a frying pan and fry the tuna on medium. Cook both sides within 5 minutes to make it medium rare.

Transfer the tuna onto a serving dish, add the salsa and garnish with the rocket and nori before serving.

Tips & Note

●Never overcook the tuna, just the surface.

Method
