Gnocchi in a Creamy Kale Sauce

Ingredients

Kale 1/2 pack (100g)
Olive oil as required
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Anchovy fillets 4
Single cream 130-150ml
Pepper as required
Gnocchi 400g

Method

Boil the kale for 8 minutes until soft, then finely chop.

Put the olive oil in a frying pan on low heat and fry the garlic and anchovy.

Smash the anchovy and fry until the garlic starts to turn brown.

Add the kale from Step 1.

Add the single cream and pepper. Reduce the sauce.

Boil the gnocchi in hot water.

Mix the gnocchi with the sauce and serve.

Tips & Note

Anchovy will burn easily so always cook on low.
Make your sauce first before boiling the gnocchi so that you don't worry about each part of the dish cooking too quickly or burning.
