Honey Garlic Chicken

A wonderful aroma of garlic and the sweetness of honey. You can eat this forever!

Ingredients

Chicken thighs (skin on, boneless) 2
Salt & pepper 1/2 tsp each
Paprika 1 tbsp
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Garlic 5 cloves
Honey 7 tbsp
Chicken stock 180ml
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Sesame seeds as you like
Spring onions 2

Method

Rub the paprika, salt & pepper into the chicken. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Add the oil to a frying pan and fry the chicken (skin side down) for 3 minutes, turn over and fry for another 3 minutes on medium heat. Add the finely chopped garlic here.

Add the vinegar, soy sauce, honey and chicken stock. Simmer on medium heat.

Baste the chicken. Cook for 5 minutes to thicken the sauce. Turn the chicken over once.

Add the finely chopped spring onions and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cook for another 30 seconds. It's done.

Perfect with cooked rice!
