The Most Delicious Irresistible Honey Garlic Chicken

Ingredients

Chicken thighs 2
Salt & pepper as required
Paprika 1 tbsp
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Garlic 4-6 cloves
Honey 7-8 tbsp
Chicken stock 150-180ml
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Rice vinegar 2 tbsp
Sesame seeds as required
Spring onions 2

Method

Season the chicken with plenty of salt & pepper and paprika and rub in. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Put the olive oil in a frying pan on high heat and add the chicken skin side down. Fry for 3 minutes then turn over and fry for a further 3 minutes until nicely browned.

Add chopped garlic, chicken stock, honey, rice vinegar and soy sauce. Turn the heat down to medium and simmer for 10 minutes to reduce the sauce, basting the chicken all the while.

Sprinkle lots of sesame seeds and finely chopped spring onions on top. It's ready when the sauce has thickened.

Serve with egg fried rice - you won't believe how irresistible this is!

Tips & Note

The sauce is more than plenty for one, so you just need to add more chicken if you're cooking for two.
