Method

Crack the egg into a small deep bowl and completely cover with cold water.

Microwave on medium for 90 seconds. Cook again for another 10 seconds at a time until it's done. I needed 100 seconds for this one.

Scoop out the egg with a large spoon and drain. Use it to top your meat or salad dish.

Tips & Note

For poaching in a microwave, you don't need to pierce the yolk as you need it to remain softly cooked.
