Parsnips are also known as white carrots. When cooked, they become very very sweet.

Salt (Maldon) as you like

Method

Peel the parsnips and cut to thin batons.

Cook in a preheated oven 200C for 15 minutes.

There's no oil to add, so this is very healthy.

Simply sprinkle with some Maldon salt before serving, but you could enjoy it with ketchup or mayonnaise if you're not health-conscious.

Tips & Note

Parsnips are quite starchy and will stick together if you overcook, so be careful.
