Broccoli & Cured Ham Frittelline

Really delicious when eaten hot with a cold yogurt curry sauce.

Ingredients

Broccoli florets 2-3
Cheddar cheese 50g
Cured ham slices 4
Nori sheet 1
Spring roll wrappers (small) 8
Flour & water as required
Vegetable oil for frying as required
Yogurt Curry Sauce
Yogurt 30g
Mayonnaise 15g
Curry powder 1/2 tsp
Salt & pepper a little

Method

Cut the cheese into batons. Tear apart the broccoli florets before boiling in hot salted water.

Cut the cured ham into half, cut the nori sheet into 8 pieces.

Mix all the yogurt curry sauce ingredients together and keep in the fridge.

Lay the ham flat and roll up the cheese and broccoli in it.

Place the nori sheet on the spring roll wrapper. Place Step 4 on top and roll again. Seal securely with a mix of flour and water.

Deep fry at 170C for 2-3 minutes. Remove and serve with the cold sauce poured over the top.

These are the spring rolls wrappers I used.

Tips & Note

●You can use Camembert or mozzarella cheese, whichever you like.
●You can use basil leaves instead of nori.
