Colourful Mozzarella, Orange & Ham Salad

An excellent combination of salty ham and unique blood orange citrus - refreshing and delicious!

Recipe By: yhiranuma (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/34)
Serves 2 Cook: 8 min

Ingredients

Mozzarella cheese 1
Blood oranges 2
Cured ham slices 6
Rocket 2 handfuls
Olive oil as required
Salt & pepper as required

Method

1
Here are the ingredients. I managed to find bufffalo mozzarella this time. The blood oranges are at the centre back.
2
Zest the oranges and keep it aside.
3
Cut off the top and bottom of the orange, then cut down to remove the orange peel so there is no pith at all.
4
Separate the orange into segments and remove the inner skin. Keep any juice that's released.
5
This will serve two people, so arrange the rocket, ham, mozzarella and orange segments in two dishes. Drizzle over the mix of orange juice, olive oil, salt & pepper, then sprinkle the zest over the top.

Tips & Note

If you're not confident to cut the segments between the skin, just cut into pieces carefully with a knife. Arrange the ingredients attractively on the dishes to make an appetising salad.
