Make a sauce to rival the Korean restaurants!

Ingredients

Beef sirloin steaks 2
Sauce:
Soy sauce 50ml
Sugar 2.5 tbsp
Red wine 3 tbsp
Mirin 1 tbsp
Sesame oil 1 tbsp
Crushed sesame seeds 1 tbsp
Garlic 2 cloves
Chicken stock granules 1/2 tsp
Pears (grated) 1-2 tbsp
Red chilli if you like

Method

Thinly slice the beef in diagonal slices.

Put all the sauce ingredients into a bowl and mix well (grate the garlic). You can add the red chilli slices here if you like.

Put Step 1 onto a plate and pour over 3 tbsp of the sauce. Marinate for a few minutes.

Fry Step 3 in a frying pan.

Pour the remaining sauce from Step 2 into a bowl for dipping the cooked meat in. Enjoy!

Tips & Note

●Use a whisk to mix the sauce at Step 2 until the sugar dissolves
●You can use apples instead of pear if you like
