Serves 3 Prep: 15 min Cook: 15 min

Ingredients

Chicken thighs 400g
Vegetable oil for frying as required
Potato starch or cornflour 100g
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Sesame oil 1 tbsp
Sake 1 tbsp
Garlic powder 2 tsp
Curry powder 1 tbsp

Method

1
Chop the chicken into bitesize pieces and put in a bowl. Add all the seasonings from soy sauce to curry powder and rub well into the chicken.
2
Add the potato starch into Step 1 and mix in.
3
Deep fry the chicken on 170C.

Tips & Note

●Once the chicken pieces are in the oil, don't be tempted to touch them. When they look as if the surface is hard, that's the time to move them around to brown evenly.
