Karaage chicken (Fried chicken)

Serves 3

Ingredients

Chicken thighs 3thighs
Soy sauce 1tbs
Sesame oil 1tsp
Finely grated fresh ginger 1tbs
Finely grated fresh garlic 1tbs
Egg 1egg
Cornflour 1cup
Plain flour 2tbs
White wine or Sake 2tbs
Vegitable oil, to deep-fry

Method

1
cut chicken into chunks.

place seasoning and chicken into plastic bag.

Mix altogether very well. Put into fridge for approx 30mins -1hr.

beat egg and place into bag.

place corn flour and plain flour into plastic bag

mix very well.

heat oil on medium heat and fry chicken for 3 minutes.

remove from pan and place onto paper towel for 3 mins.

place into oil again.

remove and drain on paper towel.
