Serves 2 Prep: 1 min Cook: 5 min Nutrition: 20 cals

Ingredients

Cos lettuce 1
Balsamic vinegar (Modena) as you like

Method

1
Divide the cos lettuce vertically into 4 pieces and skewer them together across the middle so as not to fall apart.
2
Saute on medium high heat in a frying pan (no oil required). Turn the lettuce over a couple of times using the skewer. It's ready when the surface is nicely browned. As a lovely flavour, drizzle with some balsamic vinegar.

Tips & Note

If you use oil, the lettuce will become limp and sticky. The recipe above makes a tasty vegetable side at dinner or for a BBQ.
