Deep Fried Prawns

A delicious recipe for reusing prawns with heads removed from a soup stock.

Ingredients

Frozen prawns with head and shell 10
Vegetable oil for frying as required
Salt a pinch
Sesame seeds as required

Method

Use discarded frozen prawns once the juices have been extracted. Wipe off any excess moisture with kitchen paper.

Put plenty of oil in a frying pan and heat to 180C. Add the prawns and fry for 3-4 minutes.

Drain the oil and sprinkle with the salt and sesame seeds. Enjoy - it goes really well with a beer!
