Super Simple Teriyaki Mackerel on Rice

Just add water to make the most delicious teriyaki sauce from tinned mackerel!

Ingredients

Tinned mackerel in teriyaki sauce 1
Water Half mug
Your favourite vegetables:
Carrot 1/3
Onion 1/2
Cherry tomatoes 4-5
Spring onion 1
Eggs 2
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp

Method

This is the mackerel in teriyaki sauce from Tesco. You can eat this as it is.

Here are the ingredients, but use two eggs instead of the one shown in the picture and any of your favourite colourful vegetables.

Put the vegetable oil in a medium sized frying pan and fry the chopped vegetables until soft. Add the mackerel and juice to the pan.

Break the mackerel into bitesize pieces with the spoon and add 80-100ml water and bring to the boil.

When the vegetables are cooked, beat the eggs in a bowl and pour into the mixture in two lots. Sprinkle with roughly chopped spring onions.

Put the lid on and cook for 60-90 seconds, keeping the egg slightly soft.

Enjoy as it is or put on top of cooked rice.

Tips & Note

●By simply adding water, you can enjoy a terrifically tasty dish
