Speedy Spaghetti With Pork Ginger Sauce

The pasta was originally on the side but the pork ginger sauce was so much and mixed with the spaghetti - it became a delicious dish as a main.

Serves 1

Ingredients

Spaghetti 100g
Onion 1/3
Carrot 1/3
Chestnut mushrooms 2 large
Baby plum tomatoes 6
Pork loin 1 (150g)
Fresh parsley as required
Ebara Pork Ginger Sauce 2.5 tbsp

Method

1
This is the Ebara Pork Ginger Sauce I used. You can use any brand or home-made versions.
2
Shred the pork and rub in 1 tbsp of the sauce into it. Chop the vegetables as you like, or as in the picture.
3
Add 5g of salt for 1 litre of water to boil the pasta. Cook for 1 minute less than the packet instructions to get al dente pasta.
4
Put some oil in a frying pan and turn up the heat. Add the vegetables and stir.
5
Once softened, add the pork and the tomatoes and continue to stir-fry.
6
3 minutes before the pasta is ready, add 1-1.5 tbsp of the sauce, and stir-fry well.
7
The sauce will reduce. You can add a ladle of pasta water if it seems too dry. Add the finely chopped parsley.
8
Remove the cooked pasta and fold thoroughly into the sauce for 1 minute.

Tips & Note

●Because the sauce contains a lot of salt, use half the usual amount of salt in the pasta water.
●Make sure to stir well at Step ⑧ otherwise you won't get a good harmonious flavour.
