Okra Stuffed Pork Roll

Ingredients

Okra 6
Ginger 1 thumb
Pork loin fillets 2
Potato starch of cornflour as required
Sake 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Mirin 2 tbsp
Sesame oil as required
Salt & pepper as required

Method

Trim the top and bottom of the okra. Peel the ginger and finely slice into thin strips.

Cut the pork loin fillets into 3 equal pieces each. Cover with cling film tenderise to make them thinner.

Remove the cling film and season with salt & pepper. Place okra and ginger strips in each one and roll up. Dredge with flour.

Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan and fry Step 3 on medium heat for about 7 minutes until golden brown. Add the sake, soy sauce and mirin.

Turn down to low heat and fry until the sauce reduces completely and the pork is glazed. It's ready.

Tips & Note

●You can also use thinly sliced pork escalopes.
