Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks 8
Potatoes 2
Garlic 2 cloves
Onion (medium) 1
Spring onion 1
Vermicelli 30-50g
Crushed sesame seeds as required
Chilli powder as required
Gochujang 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 3 tbsp

Method

1
Roughly chop the potatoes and spring onions and finely slice the onion and garlic.
2
Put the oil in a frying pan and fry the garlic on medium heat.
3
Add the chicken to brown nicely then remove. In the same frying pan, add the onions and potatoes. When soft, return the chicken to the pan.
4
Pour in some water to cover. Turn up the heat and bring to the boil, removing any scum.

When the potatoes are cooked, add the gochujang, soy sauce and chilli powder. Drop in the vermicelli.
6
Turn down to a simmer and allow to cook through. When the sauce is reduced, sprinkle with the spring onions and sesame seeds. Drizzle over some sesame oil.

Tips & Note

●The vermicelli absorbs a lot of liquid, so add a bit more at a time at Step 5 if required
