Stir Fried Chicken with Swede Japanese Style

Ingredients

Swede 1/4
Chicken thighs 2
Spring onions 3
Salt & pepper as required
Sesame oil as required
Sauce:
Sake 1 tbsp
Mirin 1 tbsp
Light soy sauce 1 tbsp

Method

Chop the chicken thigh to small bitesize pieces and season with salt & pepper.

Peel the swede and cut into thin strips. Cut the spring onions into diagonal slices.

Mix together all the sauce ingredients.

Put the oil in a frying pan and fry the swede, then add the chicken and fry.

When the chicken is cooked, add the sauce and sprinkle with spring onions. It's ready when everything is cooked and coated.

Tips & Note

●The crunchy texture of the swede makes you think of bamboo shoots - it's a quick and tasty dish
