Cauliflower Steak with Soy Sauce Butter Sauce

Ingredients

Cauliflower 2/3
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Spring onions 4

Method

Cut the cauliflower centre core to 2cm thick slices and roughly chop the spring onions.

Put the oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Fry the thick cauliflower slices until browned on both sides.

Remove onto a plate. Put the butter into the same frying pan and add the spring onions and soy sauce. Cook for 1 minute.

Place the cauliflower onto a serving dish and pour over the sauce from Step 3.

Tips & Note

●The key is to grill or fry the cauliflower until nicely browned to give an extra dimension to the taste.
