Konjac potatoes are practically calorie free, so why not try this healthy snack!

Recipe By: Tobuchan (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/25)
Serves 4 Prep: 4 min Cook: 6 min

Ingredients

Konjac potato 1
Miso 2 tbsp
Granulated sugar 1 tbsp
Mirin 1 tbsp
Sake 1 tbsp
Sesame oil 1 tbsp
Sesame seeds as you like

Method

1
Put all the ingredients except the konjac in a pan and bring to the boil.
2
Lightly score the konjak so it absorbs the sauce. Divide into 8 and skewer with a bamboo stick. Boil in hot water for 5 minutes before draining.
3
Transfer to a serving dish and pour over the miso sauce from Step 1 and sprinkle with the sesame seeds. You can garnish with some yuzu zest if you like.

Tips & Note

●Use red or white miso, whichever you like. Miso with dashi would be better but it's not necessary
●Make sure you score the konjac potato otherwise it won't absorb the sauce
