Yellow Egg for Easter!

Dye it with turmeric - it will look a glorious yellow but won't taste of turmeric!

Recipe By: Tobuchan (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/25)
Cook: 15 min

Ingredients

Boiled eggs 2
Hot water 400ml
Turmeric 1 tbsp

Method

1
Firstly, make two boiled eggs. Peel one completely (shown on the right), and crack the shell on the other one.
2
Put the turmeric in the hot water in a small pan and bring to the boil, then turn the heat down to low and add both eggs.
3
Rotate the eggs so that they get evenly coloured.
4
Keep immersed for 15 minutes to get a really vivid colour. Turmeric is a natural dye, so you can, of course, eat it.

Tips & Note

There are so many colours you can make your boiled eggs, see this recipe for a purple one!
