Miso & Cheese Stuffed Fried Okra

Great for a bento lunchbox and as a snack.

Ingredients

Okra 8
Nori sheet 1
Miso 1 tbsp
Grated cheese 2-3 tbsp
Vegetable oil as required

Method

Cut the tops off the okra and score down each one. Slice the nori sheet into 8 long strips.

Mix the cheese and miso well and divide into 8. Fill into each okra.

Roll each okra with the nori sheet and stick down with a bit of flour and water paste.

Put the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the okra until crispy, it's ready to serve.

Tips & Note

●Any cheese such as Gouda, Emmental and Parmigiano reggiano will work well in this recipe.
