Spicy Squid Salad

Very refreshing!

Ingredients

Squid 200g
Potato starch or cornflour as required
Vegetable oil as required
Sweet chilli sauce 2 tbsp
Fish sauce (nam pla) 1 tbsp
Lime 1/2
Mixed leaves 80g
Sea salt as required
Pepper as required

Method

Score the squid diagonally, then chop into bitesize pieces. Pat dry and season with salt & pepper. Dredge with the potato starch.

Put the oil in a large frying pan and stir fry the squid.

Add the sweet chilli sauce and fish sauce. Turn the heat off and squeeze over the lime juice.

Arrange the mixed leaves on a serving dish and place the squid from Step 3 on it, it's ready!

Tips & Note

●For the salad, rocket or cress would suit better than lettuce, for example.
●The more lime juice, the more refreshing this dish!
