Corn and Sweet Millet Rice

Cook the rice together with the core of the sweet millet.

Ingredients

Rice 2 gou (300g)
Sweet millet (or millet) 2 tbsp
Sea salt 1 tsp
Raw fresh sweetcorn 1
Water 360ml

Method

Wash the rice and soak in water with the sweet millet.

Remove the corn from the ear.

Put the drained rice and millet in a pan and add the water. Add the sweetcorn and the discarded ear and salt.

Cook as usual, and remove the ear. Leave for at least 5 minutes with the lid on, then mix it well. It's ready.

This is sweet millet, it's stickier than the usual millet.

Tips & Note

●It's more delicious if you include the corn ear as it releases lots of flavour.
