Lettuce-Wrapped Minced Lamb Shish Kebab Style

A quick and speedy kebab you can make at home!

Ingredients

Minced lamb 500g
Seasonings:
Salt 2 tsp
Cumin powder 2-3 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Onion (finely chopped) 1/2-1
Grated ginger 1 thumb
Grated garlic 2 cloves
Coriander (roughly chopped) as required
Your favourite lettuce as required
Salsa:
Red onion (roughly chopped) 1
Tinned sweetcorn 1/2
Tomato (diced) 2
Lemon juice 1
Cucumber (finely diced) 1/5
Coriander as required
Salt & pepper a little

Method

Put all the ingredients for the salsa in a bowl and mix well.

Put the minced lamb and all the ingredients for the seasoning into a heavy bottomed pan and fry until browned and separate.

Add the chopped fresh coriander and mix.

Place Steps 1, 3 and the coriander on a large plate. Wrap some of each into lettuce leaves and enjoy.

Tips & Note

●When you cook the minced lamb, use a whisk to separate it finely when stirring.
●It's also delicious wrapped in pitta bread.
