Serves 1 Prep: 5 min Cook: 5 min

Ingredients

Egg 1
Sliced bread 1
Mayonnaise as required
Salt a little
Pepper a little

Method

1
The main character from the animation eats this toast.
2
It's quite thick in the animation, so everyone tends to adapt it.
3
here are my ingredients.
4
Squirt the mayonnaise around the edge of the bread to make a high wall.
5
Crack the egg in the middle and don't move it.
6
Put under the grill for 5-7 minutes until the egg is cooked. Season with salt & pepper then dig right in!

Tips & Note

Don't let it burn - the yolk should be mostly cooked but it's quite difficult to judge. Other recipes "Ultra Laputa Toast" suggest to sprinkle with tuna or cheese.
