Hot & Spicy Garlic Roasted Beef with Roast Onions

A delicious slow roast of rib eye beef studded with garlic and covered in a spicy sauce.

Ingredients

Rib eye beef 1.3kg
Red onions 3
Garlic 2 cloves
A Olive oil 1.5 tbsp
A  Salt 1 tsp
A Dried thyme 1 tsp
A Cayenne pepper 1 tsp
A Paprika 1 tsp
A Dried parsley 1 tbsp
A Wholegrain mustard 1 tbsp

Method

Preheat the oven 150C. Score the beef with a sharp knife and stud with sliced garlic.

Put all the ingredients for A in a bowl and mix.

Rub the meat with Step 2. Rub the halved red onions with olive oil and put in an oven dish. Lay the meat on top.

Put into the oven for 2 hours. Remove and cover with foil and keep aside to rest.

Slice the beef thinly and serve with the onions on the side.

Tips & Note

Slow roast on low heat to get excellent results.
