King Prawns with Black Penne in a Tomato Sauce

This recipe is easy if you can find passata from the top Italian brand Cirio which makes a deep tasting tomato sauce in seconds. It goes really well with the black pasta (made with squid ink).

Ingredients

Garlic (finely chopped) 1 clove
Passata 1 pack (200g)
Green beans 50g
Black penne (cooked) 200g
King prawns 100g
Olive oil as required
Salt & pepper as required

Method

Put the olive oil in a frying pan and add the garlic. Heat on medium.

Add the passata and the cooked green beans (microwave for 2 minutes in advance) and season with salt & pepper.

Add the king prawns and fry (frozen or fresh, but with the heads looks better).

Drizzle the black penne with olive oil and pour the sauce from Step 3 over it.

Tips & Note

You can use any seafood you like. I made this because I bought lots of king prawns from Billingsgate Market.
