Spicy Spaghetti with Prawn and Squid

It would be great to use fresh raw prawns and squid, but it can be equally delicious with frozen ingredients.

Ingredients

Frozen prawns 6 tbsp
Frozen squid 1
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Garlic 2 cloves
Crushed chilli 1/3 tsp
Sweet paprika 1/2 tsp
Italian herbs 1/2 tsp
Cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Parsley as required
Fish stock 150ml
Spaghetti 200g

Method

Defrost the frozen prawns and squid in hot water. Start boiling the spaghetti.

Put the oil in a large frying pan and heat on medium. Add the chopped garlic and crushed chilli and stir for 2 minutes. Add the defrosted prawns and sliced squid.

After 2 minutes, add the cayenne pepper, paprika and herbs.

Add the chopped parsley and butter and stir fry for 1 minute. Add the fish stock and cook until the sauce has reduced by half.

When the spaghetti is cooked, add it to the frying pan and mix thoroughly with the sauce for 1 minute. Sprinkle with the chopped parsley to make its presentation more attractive.
