Miso Soup with Ham and Potato

The ham give a good umami to this miso soup.

Ingredients

Potato (medium) 1
Sliced ham 4
Spring onion 1/2
Dashi stock granules (or fish stock cube) 1/3 tsp (or 1/3 cube)
Miso paste 20g
Hot water 400ml
Chilli oil as required

Method

Boil the hot water in a pan and cook the potato wedges and dashi stock. When the potatoes are soft, add the ham and cook for 1 minute.

Turn the heat off and dissolve in the miso paste and add the finely chopped spring onion. Drizzle with the chilli oil before serving.
