Pot au Feu Style Miso Soup with Cumberland Sausage

Ingredients

Cumberland sausages 4
Potatoes 150g
Carrot 1
Onion 1/4
Dashi stock granules 1/2 tsp
Hot water 600ml
Miso 35-40g
Spring onion 1

Method

Cut the potatoes and carrots into 5mm slices. Cut the onion into thin slices.

Boil the hot water in a pan and add all the ingredients. Cook for 10 minutes on medium heat. The water should reduce down to about 400ml.

Turn the heat down to low and dissolve in the miso. It's ready!

Transfer to a soup dish and sprinkle with the finely chopped spring onion. Don't forget to offer a fork and knife. And of course a spoon!
